The process of getting traffic to your website has been talked about a lot throughout the Internet, basically by now we all know that bringing traffic back to your website or blog is the way to your success online.
So! Where do you start.
I’m going to talk a little about the mechanics of traffic and why you should set yourself out a daily task that you can implement every day, which will bring you back a load of traffic.
To me traffic has been my first priority when setting up a website or blog and without it you simply haven’t got a business. A great program I recommend is Total Web Traffic by Dave Nicholson. This is a great program where he shows you a step by step process of how to bring traffic back to your site, if you really implement this system it works and works well. How do I know? Because I bought the product, implemented it and gained a load of traffic for my efforts.
As I mentioned in previous posts, I’m not in the habit of promoting a product that I haven’t bought and checked out myself. I think it’s only fair if your going to promote a product that you’ve checked it out yourself, so as to give your visitors something that works.
People do stress out over this point, the reason is they get bogged down with to much overload. But there is a simpler way, that’s if you want to go this way about it. Some people do these parts on there own, I did at the start. But? You can outsource this work to other people, freeing your time up to do other tasks that you simply never seem to get the time to do.
I’ll do a post on outsourcing in my next post, but for now if your strapped for cash, I’ll give you a list that has worked for me and still does to this day. I have people in the philippines do these tasks for me daily and for cheap.
List of sites that will bring you in a load of traffic daily:
- Blog commenting.
- Finding link partners.
- Forum commentating.
- free Ebook submission.
- keyword research.
- Making tweets.
- Join digg.
- Join reddit.
- Join stumble upon.
- Join socialmarker sites.
- Join mybloglog You’ll have to open a Yahoo account.
- Submit articles.
- Add twitter followers.
- Submit to blog carnivals.
- Write articles and submit to article directories.
These are the kind of sites I use personally and then there’s Dave’s product Total Web Traffic that I fully endorse and really recommend you take a look at, Dave gives you another load of ways to get the job done for bringing in traffic.
Remember, before you start looking for traffic, I hope you have some kind of opt in form on the front page of your website or blog
This is very important, when you bring visitors via the methods I’ve listed above, you not only get them back to your website or blog where they may make a purchase. You also place an opt in form on your site where you can offer a free 7 day email mini course where you can teach them how to use email marketing or maybe something on affiliate marketing or say link building. You get the idea here. You can build up a relationship with your visitor by giving them further information to help them in their Internet business.
What this will achieve is they’ll begin to see you as an expert and want to come back for more.
Also what you’ve accomplished here if you capture their email, is you already know now what your visitor is looking for, so you can promote other affiliate products to them through email marketing and if they buy you make a sale. I hope now see the importance of an opt-in form now. It simply means all them visitors that land on a website or blog that hasn’t got one are missing out on further potential sales they could have had.
I use Aweber to attach all my opt-in form to, Aweber is one of the biggest leading email collectors there is. They’ll capture all these emails for you and store them for future promotions. Remember only send your email list a product you have tested and know can help them along.
At the top of this post you’re reading you can see what I mean by an opt in form that I have created to capture email leads, this in my eyes should be on every blog and website about. Unfortunately a lot of marketers still miss out on the importance of it.
That’s it for now, but remember that the list above and Dave’s product will bring you in an endless stream of traffic to any website or blog.
Till next time Eamon.
