Hey everyone, well we’re now on issue 15 and what we are going to look at today is uploading video to your blog. Most people prefer to use YouTube to do this because of its recognition.
I did mention blog above to upload video to – but as we know by now wordpress can do a whole lot more than blogs, we can turn it into a website, membership site, single one page websites for our squeeze pages and sales page and even use wordpress along with optimize press for what you are viewing right now…this very newsletter.
So let’s push ahead – whatever you decide to use wordpress for…video is always going to have a real impact no matter what!
I started using video in my online marketing and I’ve noticed an impact right away – once you begin to get a feel for getting your way around a little bit of the techie stuff, your next bet is to start implementing video as soon as you can.
I know there are a lot of people that still like to learn by having a good read – but 90% of people love to learn through video.
You can use videos form video sharing sites like YouTube, Metacafe, DailyMotion, Viddler and so on if they add value to your posts, or you can create your own and upload it to these sites – then grab the link and upload your own video. In some cases though you may want to upload your own video direct to your own server and go that route – but I’m going to show you a neat little plugin…(free of course) that is going to leave this a very easy task to do.
So without further ado…let’s take a look in the video at how to upload your videos.
